Inferno Pilates is a high intensity, low impact interval training based on the principles of Joseph Pilates (breath, centering, concentration, control, flow & precision) married with the genius of Izumi Tabata, the Japanese scientist who invented the concept of interval training. It is a perfect compliment to your Bikram, Vinyasa, Hatha, & Yin Yoga practice! We condition the room to 95 degrees so you'll still work up a sweat and build some serious glutes and abs. Many news sources are calling Inferno Pilates the hottest new fitness trend because you get the fastest results in the shortest amount of time!! Dewey, Kay and all of our other instructors attended the internationally recognized Inferno Pilates teacher training and had the honor and privilege of training directly under Gabriella Walters, founder of Inferno Pilates.  We're soooo excited to bring it to Milledgeville, Ga! Natural Medicine is an alternative or supplemental way to manage illness or pain. It embraces many therapies to address the root causes of medical conditions, rather than treating just the  symptoms. Science, technology and age old remedies are applied to help the body heal itself. Natural Medicine focuses on education and prevention. It may be an option for people who have not found relief for their medical conditions through traditional treatment methods or for people who want to explore options for their health. In some cases, you can use both conventional and natural medicine to treat ailments and should always keep your practitioners informed.

Movement Therapy Based on physical therapy and athletic training approaches to evaluation, exercise rehabilitation, and symptom management, movement therapy focuses on identifying and addressing factors that impact the ability to move freely and optimally. After a thorough interview and medical history is taken, initial evaluation assesses range of motion, anatomical structure and function through palpation and muscle testing, and orthopedic special tests to find factors that may contribute to movement deficiency. From the findings of the initial evaluation a plan of care is established that typically consists of therapeutic modalities, joint mobilization, and soft tissue mobilization as well as specific rehabilitative exercises to target key joints, muscles, and movement patterns to allow for increased freedom and ease of motion. A home exercise program is also developed to allow for long-term goal achievement and maintenance.

Massage Therapy is a type of integrative medicine that is increasingly being recommended for a variety of medical conditions and is widely recognized as an important tool in promoting physical and mental health.  It is most frequently utilized as a tool for stress reduction and pain relief. During a massage session, a therapist will manipulate the soft tissues of the body by rubbing and kneading skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. The technique used may vary from light stroking to deep pressure. Our licensed therapist will tailor your massage to meet your specific needs.
